The best Chai Tea that I have ever had!!...Such a cute place. It could not be at a more ideal location. This is the definition of what a local coffee shop should look like. More than all the dozens of homemade pastries, sustainably sourced coffee from Colombia, and organic chai mixture made just for this store is the owner. I have never met a small business owner who pours her whole heart into the shop. If you go in the evening when it is slower you might have the honor of hearing part of her story. Also, if you are not into the bar scene, it is a great place to go and sit out in the evening. Luckily, I had the opportunity to listen to hear story of 26 years in business when I was there one night. I encourage you to ask her about her story. We are all more than what we do for work. Having founded a social enterprise myself, I could relate to her story. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back.

The reviews are right, it is over priced. But the owner is so nice, hospitable, and makes ALL the baked goods herself. She even had a shammy available to wipe down our chairs for us! I’d much rather spend an extra $3 and support her, rather than give the money to Starbucks. If you go during fall the pumpkin chai tea latte won’t disappoint!

STAY AWAY. I should've read the reviews before I came here. The $32 for 2 coffees and 2 snacks is an understatement. Not only is the cost outrageous, but the coffee and food was mediocre at best. I also greatly regret tipping. This is a sailing town, so I think people will understand the analogy...I feel like I've been taken on a ride through the Drake Passage, financially speaking. Also, note on the Square receipt that it says "custom amount." A Square receipt anywhere else would have the itemized breakdown of what was purchased. This place is a scam and incredibly unethical.

$18 for a large iced coffee and a pound cake. Owner charged us $0.95 for flavored syrup. When we asked if that was the correct price, she justified it by saying she was featured on the Food Network and whatnot. I understand the rent must be high to be on the water like that but that’s outrageous!! Mediocre coffee and food, the pricing and other details are written out on cardboard. Definitely do not recommend.

On what planet does a medium iced French vanilla coffee cost $9.07?!?! My husband wanted to go to Starbucks and I insisted on supporting the local coffee shop. Cute little spot directly on the water with a lovely woman working there but I cannot justify ever going into this shop again. Coffee was mediocre.

If your taste buds don’t work and you don’t care how much money you leave with then this is the coffee place for YOU. 38 dollars. Two coffees. Two Scones. I wasn’t looking hard for prices but nothing was clear to see. Tipped $5. Dear owner- Take that money and buy a coffee from any of the other great shops in the area who run businesses the right way.

I am all about supporting local businesses, but $45 for 2 portions of tepid and mediocre chowder, a scone warmed-up in the microwave, and 2 double espressos is obscene. I’m impressed that they’re still in business — the water-front location probably helps (and earns the one star I had to give) — and I guess with such mark-ups they can afford not to have repeat customers.
