Portuguese Lover pizza is a HUGE hit for my boy's, and MAMA LEONE's knows that this mama is obsessed with her Mama's Veggie. This Newport location is fast, always delicious, and delightfully personable. The owner has an undeniable passion and expertise when selecting, ingredients, staff members, and quality service. Always a MUST when we are in Newport!

I am very apprehensive of critiquing a local establishment during a global pandemic, We got the wrong food, two phone calls, no help. Told that they would not deliver our requested food after they delivered the wrong pizza to us. I was told the "manager" was unavailable and that is the "reason" they cannot correct their error. Beyond angry. They said because we tasted our food, we are not entitled to our actual order, Saturday night pie? Of course we just dug in. We trusted our order would be correct. I will call in the next few days to speak with the "manager" who condones people getting an order they do not want. Again, very angry and disappointed.

Coworkers loved to get food ordered from here. Tried a pizza which I was not happy with. Months later after my coworkers convinced me that it must have been a bad fluke and I should try something else I ordered a pasta dish. Wasn't awful but I'm never pleased when I can make food better at home, because its cheaper to make food at home.
