Kfc

This is the worst KFC I've ever eaten at. The food was disgusting! The coleslaw was slimy as if it were old, the biscuits we're hard and dry, the brown gravy was thick and chunky, the chicken was mediocre but there was only 2 options and they didn't serve liver. The employees did nothing but wine and complain about their jobs and I'm pretty sure the "manager" was high. I would have given less than one star but it is not an option. It cost $32 for myself, my 3 kids, and my (senior citizen) grandmother to eat. We could have taken our money to the Mexican restaurant down the road for good food worth the price.

I drive to the Newport, Arkansas KFC for lunch. It's a satuday at 1 pm. The first thing I notice is that they aren't busy. 1 car in the drive through, 2 cars parked in the lot. As I walk in, I see tha there's no buffet. The lights are on, the pans are there, but they're empty. I really want a buffet, but it's ok, I'll order off the menu. The lady in the kitchen says "I'll be right with you." Great. Fast forward 10 minutes, and I'm still standing at the counter, and no one has come to take my order. I look around. There are trash, food, and cup lids on the floor of the kitchen. 3 more cars have come through the drive through, one was sent to park and wait. Still, no one has come to take my order. The 2 customers That were already served have come to the counter. One woman yells to the back and complains that she didn't get a biscuit. The other is waiting, with her receipt in hand. "Guess I have to go through the drive through," I say, as I leave to get into my car. At the speaker, I'm greeted instantly and order a K5 and a side of masked potatoes.. I'm asked if I want regular or extra crispy. I reply that I want the extra crispy. I am informed that they don't have any, and that if I still want it, I have to wait for it to be cooked. During lunch. On a Saturday. I tell her that I'll just take the regular chicken. So I pull around, pay, and get my food. I check to make sure that everything is there. It is. Good. I drive the two blocks back to work, and sit down to eat. No plastic spork. My biscuit is hard as a rock. My chicken is soggy and tastes like fish. Mashed potatoes are lukewarm. The Mountain Dew is good. I guess it takes real effort to mess up a Mountain Dew. This place is obviously not managed well. The workers don't care about their jobs. The kitchen is dirty. The food was ill-prepared. The buffet, which was priced on the menu, was non-existent. Now, as I prepare for another 6 hours on my feet, all I can think about is how lucky that lady was that didn't get her biscuit.
