Actually want to give 3.5 but can’t do half star rating so I’ve been generous. Anyway we’ve been to the restaurant a number of times and the quality has been inconsistent. Sometimes it’s amazing other times disappointing eg way way too much salt on multiple dishes last I went and chicken was lacklustre and tasted like something I could have gotten frozen from the supermarket. So a mixed bag. Service has been mixed too sometimes very attentive other times can’t get a waiter/waitress attention despite not been too busy. It’s a bit of a hit and miss.

I really loved my meal at Lovat. I had the Crab Spaghetti but I think it was a bit expensive at $39 as there wasn't much crab in the dish. We sat in the outdoor area which was a bit too cold even with heaters on. I was a bit annoyed to be asked to leave after 1 and a half hours after we were told it was a 2 hour booking. No time for dessert or coffee! Next time I'll make sure I go later and sit inside. I'd go elsewhere otherwise
