Umami

I visited here with my husband and my daughter, we were celebrating her 5th birthday as she wanted sushi. I was left Absolutely violated and quite shaken after being threatened with the police from the owners and made to pay for a dish that was still being made in the kitchen 10 mins after we had finished our dinner. Not only were we the first in the restaurant we were still waiting for our mains after 4 other tables had been served first so had assumed the sushi dish had been forgotten. Sushi. Non cooked dish. The service was woefully slow and really bad. The owner threatened to call the police and got his phone to call them, he had the audacity to educate me and tell me that they are not MacDonalds who serve fast food when I refused to pay for a dish that wasn’t even finished by the time we were leaving. I was literally not allowed to leave without paying for the sushi. Held to ransom. Then told I would get 10% off but that didn’t happen. I was so upset I felt I had to write this review. Appalling customer service and treatment. They refused to let me pay the balance without the unmade sushi and wanted to argue in front of all their customers inside and waiting. So I caved in and paid as it was a Mexican stand off. I am so utterly disgusted with how they treated me as a customer.
