Lahori Paratha

So far the best Indian subcontinent food joint I’ve tried in Newport city. Very close to the city centre, this restaurant has a huge menu with plenty of options. They have a signature menu and drinks menu apart from the regular menu. The restaurant has an amazing ambience as well, with a a very spacious dining area. The old person who’s the owner/ manager was very friendly and courteous. We tried Veg Jalfrezi, Lahori Biriyani, Grill platter, Tikka starter, Paneer starter, Pappadam with chutney bowl and hot beverages. All the food we tried were amazing and worth the money. The only negative id think of is that there are no chai/ desi drinks on their menu, apparently because they don’t sell much in this British dominated area. Also, it’s a Pakistani/ Bangladeshi restaurant but uses the tag Indian restaurant, which means it’s not an authentic Indian restaurant (although that isn’t much of a problem) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ customer friendliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ value for money Verdict: An amazing choice for an Indian dinner.
