Spice Island

We called in from Stoke we had the Set Meal B For 2 Persons £20.95 2 Poppadoms,1 Chicken tikka pakora,1 Seekh kebab,1 Balti special,1 Tandoori chicken balti,1 Saag bhaji,1 Pilau rice,1 Plain naan, everything was cooked to perfection & very tasty we both said it was the best Indian meal we have had in years we will be returning & the waiter was very friendly you can take your own beer or wine.

On way home. Searched for curry house in Newport. Found this one. Read the reviews thought cant go to wrong. So popped in sat down ordered lovely friendly person. The food was amazing full of favour and just the right amount of food. Cant complain at all. Would highly recommend and definitely when in that area again will be returning.

What a fantastic hidden gem, found it by accident as I was travelling back from Telford and fancied a curry, I was not at all disappointed, a friendly welcome, it was lovely and clean, this brings me onto the food which was delicious, an lovely array of flavours with a good level of spice, the portion size was good, I highly recommend the food here, I will be returning.

Our family love Spice Island so much. You are never treated as a number or as money in the till but you are treated as a person, someone who is either ordering a takeaway or to sit in to enjoy a night out. Food is always excellent, cooked to perfection and the prices are very reasonable. If when we have ordered a takeaway the guys chat to you, they get to know you which not only makes you feel inviting but it makes the waiting time pass quicker for your food. His last line to you is:- Well Sir your food has just left the building and should be with you shortly. Enjoy your evening. Goodbye.
