After a wet afternoon walking my partner and I stopped by just for a drink, it was such a lovely place then we then stayed for food. I couldn’t fault the drink, food or service

Called in for a lunch time snack. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was good and service very efficient.

A group of us (10 ladies) had our usual annual weekend away. This year it was Chester. On the way back we stopped to eat. Beautiful surroundings both externally and internally. Top drawer service and food. The young man who served us took our banter very well and went along with it in good spirit. Would highly recommend and definitely go out of my way to visit again. Sunday brisket beef was melt in your mouth and I tried the daughter's mushroom bacon pasta which was a big portion and delicious also,waiting staff were smiling and attentive 10/10 😎

The management, staff (& friendly regulars!) looked after our party of four golfers admirably. Splendid spacious quirky rooms, excellent food and a great choice of ales from Joule’s local brewery. Recommended!

A warmer welcome you could not wish for. Alex was amazing, catering to all aspects of our stay. We booked dinner for four people originally, and it ended up being twelve. No fuss or bother, just more tablets added! The food is lovely, and breakfast was gorgeous. Well done, everyone. What a great place to stay.

Had an overnight stay. The staff is very friendly. Beer great. Had an evening meal. The ribs were amazing.
