This is a Costa drive through in Newport, that also has a place to sit in doors and outside.
It was a hot day and I just wanted to have a little sit down and enjoy a light lunch.
The staff were friendly and efficient despite having to do double duty of service to the drive through and the walk in clients.
The café was clean with lots of different configurations for seating that can accommodate different party sizes.
Was a little disappointed 😥 that although on the menu board, the selection of vegan options was non existent.
As a dairy intolerant vegetarian, the only thing l could find was the mushroom and spinach roll. Which by the way was delicious. However it would be nice to have actually been able to purchase any of the other items that they held as being in offer.

Good coffee but quite slow service for those dining in. While I understand that the staff need to serve people in the drive thru, the service from staff could have been a bit faster for those inside. Also the staff seemed to acknowledge people waiting to order inside the store but it just seemed like they were focusing on the people in the drive thru, and not the queue building up inside.

The drive thru is a great way is getting drinks on the go. I usually visit around 10.30am and it's always fairly quiet - it only takes a minute or two until I'm being served. The staff are friendly and the drinks are nice (as expected).

Standard Costa offering but good range of items, plenty of parking, outside seating, and drive through. Clean and tidy.

Food and drinks are lovely when they actually get it right. I use the drive thru at least once per week. Around 50% of my orders have issues. Its usually that they haven't put the hazelnut syrup in my hot chocolate or they've burned a toastie so nothing major but frustrating when I'm spending so much with them. A couple of the staff members have also been dismissive or just not pleasant to deal with. Think they need more training in customer service.

I come here not just for the coffee but because it is a pleasant place to be. The place is clean and bright and sitting by the window with drink in hand allows you to dream. I love it here.

Great service, service with a smile. The place was full by the looks. Every table was taken pretty much, which is a good sign. Coffee was lovely. Lovely little spot just off the River Usk.

Love all the colleagues here. I go here that often that they even know my order and voice as I'm ordering. It was so heart warming to hear "at a cooler temperature today" before i could even say it. Thats made my day and will stay with me for life. Please go to this costa you'll be served with a smile and lot and lots of care.
