Attended recently for an after funeral wake for the first time in 20 years. Lovely friendly staff and even the pub dog (That don't normally like me) left me alone so that was good! Very reasonably priced drinks, the HPA was lovely and clean and crisp from the draught, the wake went very smoothly and we were very well accomodated. Some outdated furniture and could do with a spruce up, some of that decor was there 20 years ago!

Wood burner in the bar, open fire in lounge, cosy pub with friendly dogs and sport on TV. Good real ales, nice relaxed spot for a few pints.

Nice place, good beer and very nice people there. Never been before and after been there just a short time found myself feeling as I was part of the local crowed that went. Will be going again next time I'm in the area.
