Treffry Tavern Table Table

Me and my family had some wonderful food when we went there and the atmosphere was nice too. The food came out quickly and it was fresh and hot. We had a wonderful server called Olga, who was happy to get us anything we needed and offered us some suggestions. She was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I would 100% go back there and would recommend to other people.

6 adults and 6 children came here during our holiday last week. It was a random stop after going to swimming nearby and we were all so impressed by the quality and quantity of food. We had the chicken wings to start which were lovely. I then had salad for mains which I liked that you could build yourself. My husband had the trio of pies which he said were lovely. Others had mixed grill, the pies and steak. My friend commented that the steak was one of the best she had eaten. For pudding I had jam roll poly, properly homemade pudding. Others had brownie (which I tried and wanted to come back for!) And sticky toffee pudding. The children all had the 3 course meal deal which I thought they would waste honestly but they didn't. They like it that much! It's a shame we haven't got a pub like this local to us because we would be visiting weekly. Thank you very much. The ladies serving us were so friendly and welcoming too.

Party of 4 adults 2 young children went here Thursday, they made sure we had a table with extra space for the buggy and highchair. Our server Dean was awesome through out the whole time we was there. Food was served quick, very lovely food and cooked perfect. Come out piping hot too definitely recommend. Next time we are this way on holiday we will pop in :)

I cannot deny, a pleasant surprise! Having eaten here before I thought I knew what I was in for but it far exceeded my expectations. Lots of parking here, very convenient location just off the quintrell roundabout. An unplanned last minute lunch having found a few local places closed I'm glad we were steered into the Treffry. The staff first off were very welcoming acknowledging us instantly and attentive throughout no matter who approached us all were very kind and high spirited and I want them to know I really felt their presence in a positive way. The Christmas menu two courses for 15.99 was too good to pass up. My beef wellington was a small additional charge but I was happy to pay and would have been happy with either meal at our table. Despite being busy and having a few large tables in food arrived promptly. Again very pleasently surprised to see a great dish, hot and cooked to perfection. Both meals arrived together. Roast potatoes were great extra points for them alone. Having thoroughly enjoyed our mains we wanted to show commitment and have the extra course which could have been starters or desserts personally I couldn't have done three courses and struggled with the two, the sweets were a journey in themselves alternating flavours and textures the deeper we delved. We stayed strong and finished. I was really impressed overall, so much so I'm booking another session for next week.
