The Quintrell

We were just driving past and saw this place, if there's a busy car park you know its popular! We were lucky to get a table as it was packed, and the Sunday carvery was one of the best I've ever had!! There's 3 sizes of roasts, and we went for the standard, which was huge & small would have been enough tbh. Service was quick & and friendly, especially considering they were packed.

A great little find, we were looking for a carvery went to one place and it had stopped food, so we came here and glad we did, the food is really nice and the quantity and quality of food is just brilliant and nice, beats Toby carvery by miles. We took dessert away as we were all full. Place was really busy but ran really well with how busy it was. Would recommend here to anyone.

3 of the last 4 years we have stayed nearby. Only a week in the area, but, ate there 4 times each time. What a slick operation. Staff wonderful. Girl behind the bar can only be admired for her quickness and total control of drinks orders for diners. Food is lovely and fresh. PLEASE book or you will be disappoint. Phil and Zak, you have a wonderful team.

Wife and I had the Steak and Ale pie. It was delicious and I rate that 10/10. The food did take a long time to arrive and when we questioned it the server said “didn’t I tell you there was a 40 min wait” - he didn’t tell us. So just beware there may be some wait for the food but that is likely due to the place being so popular due to the very high standard of food. They also were showing the Champions League game so the atmosphere was top notch. Will defo visit again.

Family meal out whilst on holiday. We pre booked a table good job we did as there happened to be a live band performing in the garden drawing in a fair crowd. (Good musicians and singers cannot say who they were) The waiting staff were all happy polite and very helpful. Any empty glasses were quickly removed. Our food was served quickly and well presented. Three of the four mains were thoroughly enjoyed sadly one (fairly large) steak was partially undercooked from the requested level. Desserts were large and delicious. We would highly recommend this Inn but suggest you pre book a table.

Daughter needed a chicken dinner and we called in last minute after another place let us down. The carvery was superb 👌 excellent value for money. Staff are excellent too. I didnt want carvery so had the salt n pepper cheeseburger 👌 beautiful. Carvery was not self service but boy do the fill the plates. More than enough for the average person. Went back a second times just as good. We'll be back.

Had a lovely roast visiting Newquay here. Didn’t have a booking but we’re still accommodated. The food was delicious and portions very generous. The standard carvery looked like mega. Both meat and vegetables were cooked nicely apart from potatos and stuffing which were dry. That didn’t spoil the meal though. Finished with two slices of the most yummy cakes, a chocolate fudge and a caramel slice. Staff were very friendly and prompt. Was a bit loud in there and too many kids. People sat around the pool table watching football which made it awkward to play pool. Would definitely drop by again next time I’m in Newquay

What a fabulous place to eat. We live in St. Germans Cornwall & came down to Whiteacres holiday park for a short break. We had 3 fantastic meals in the Quintrell Inn. Food was fantastic and drinks a good price. Will definitely visit again. The staff were so friendly and service was excellent. Well done to you all.

Big group of us turned up without booking after a long walk and instantly accommodated us, and the service was fast and food was hot and lovely, our waitress also engaged in conversation and was very friendly and helpful. We then called up another night asking for a booking of another large group of 16, they once again instantly said yes and the service was the same as before. absolutely no complaints food and staff were lovely while the service was super fast. definitely recommend
