Called in here as an alternative to a service station on the A1. Less than 3 minutes from the motorway offering a good range of freshly prepared food with friendly helpful staff. Well definitely call in again if I'm journeying North.

Great outside area overlooking the river.
Kid and dog friendly.
All day breakfast is huge and very reasonably priced.
3 well kept cask ales and all the usual favorites.

Just had 2 great meals at Muskham Ferry pub and highly recommend a visit. The pub serves real ale's too. I should have taken pictures of the food, but the floodwater of the Trent was too big to ignore. Great place to visit on a sunny day and sit outside.

Our favourite stop on the A1. Exactly halfway between London and Whitby. Food basic pub and basic pub grub (hence four not five stars...would have given four and a half if that was an option)...but location just lovely. So tranquil on the river...

Really great pub grub and brilliantly kept draught ale, all with a fabulous Riverside garden! Staff were lovely, but the only downside was the wait to be served as we were sat away from the pub and got overlooked a couple of times. On the plus side they also had blankets washed after every use, so perfect for when the wind got up a bit!

Lovely setting with the river Trent at the bottom of the garden area. Some of the tables could do with some work to level them off as they are very unsteady to place a drink on or,eat food on it.

Well I believe it's, been under new management for a while now. Visited 3 times in last 6 weeks. The food quality is good, love gourmet burger. Staff are friendly and helpful. A proper old English pub.
If you like modern theme pubs probably not for you.
Great views nice patio area for good weather.

A very enjoyable meal, pleasant helpful staff, nice and quiet with a lovely view.
Dog friendly and we could sit where we liked.
