Fantastic food; fantastic service. My husband and I went there for dinner last night. The food was amazing ... good size portions, beautifully presented. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection. My husband said his chicken and leek pie was the best one he’s ever had. The other couple had the cod and the lemon chicken; both said the food was absolutely delicious. We were attended by various staff who were attentive but never intrusive. But our table waitress was just wonderful; I can’t recall her name but she was a small Scottish lady. Everything she did for us was spot on. It was a pleasure to be waited on by someone who was friendly, polite and wore a smile. Well done to all the staff at The Swan ... we had a brilliant evening. Will definitely be back 👍🏼

Would like to give a huge thank you to Will and his team at The Lamport Swan for making our wedding day so special and letting us hold our ceremony there. Being able to hold our ceremony outside in the gorgeous garden over looking the Northamptonshire countryside was absolutely stunning.
From decorating the venue, setting up the outside with flowers, seating and outdoor games for the kids. All to make our day extra special. Will and his team definitely went the extra mile for us.
Massive thank you to Rui the head chef and his team for the absolutely delicious food we were served, all our guests commented on how lovely it was.
The customer service and attention to detail was perfect, so thank you very much for making our wedding day stress free and accommodating our guests very well.

Unfortunately, we've been told that the kitchen we're closed till later on afternoon and we had to use only the pub facilities.

Had an absolutely delightful evening. The customer service was outstanding and our food was delicious. The staff made us feel very welcomed and relaxed from beginning to end.
Between us we had a shared starter, two mains with a side each, desert and three rounds of drinks.
My hubby had a mixed grill and it was cooked exactly how he asked, rare. This is a rarity as normally it’s either well done or cremated.
It was so nice seeing non alcoholic Heineken on tap as well.
Highly recommend this establishment. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Went to Swan after visiting nearby Lamport House. Had a lovely meal. Started in the garden but as it was our 1st time we chose a table which was near the road. It was a busy road & as a result it was noisy. However the gardens are large & a table further in would be fine. And the views across the valley we're beautiful. We decided to go inside. It was lunchtime and it wasn't busy. The service was excellent and the food was too. Would recommend it & will definitely be going again.
We popped in for lunch and we were really pleased to see Vegan options on the menu. The not-chicken burger was nice and the not-chicken Caesar salad tasted great!

First time visiting this lovely place. Warm friendly staff. The food was delicious.
Went for Sunday dinner. The meat was cooked perfectly and the Yorkshire was nice. The roast potatoes where over done and they’re where no ‘greens’ left which we didn’t know until after we ordered.
We visited mid afternoon on a Sunday, having never been before, it's a really nice gastro pub environment, light open and airy. The staff were very friendly, and our waitress initially was very helpful regarding dietary requirements. We opted to skip starters, but mains were delivered with good efficiency and really tasty food, the Sunday roast Trio had really well cooked meat, the beef still pink, and 3 were very tender and succulent. Kids meals looked good, and we're enjoyed by our 9 and 6 Yo's
The service became a little patchy at this point, no one came to check everything was okay, or if any more drinks were needed, the finished plates sat on the table for over 5 minutes once we had finished.
Deserts were ordered, and again they were keen to help deal with finding something non dairy for one of the adults. I had a chocolate bread and butter pudding which was devine, but for some reason was served a few minutes after the other 3 desserts.
