06/04/18 New management are very friendly and doing a great job, hadn't been in a while, but since last visit there is a new menu and the chef is fantastic. We had New York Deli Burger, Gourmet Burger and Chicken & Calamari Burger followed by Chocolate fudge pudding, Millionaire Brownie and Jam Roly Poly. Can recommend everything as the burgers were perfect, desserts also really great.
Can't wait to go back to try some more...
This is on behalf of all my family; there were many of us (around 20+) and all the staff were so pleasant and understanding of our get together and why we were there. Food was lovely. A massive thankyou for the staff for being so accommodating, friendly and making our evening peaceful and relaxed. Can't thank them enough for the amount they did for us, we are all so greatful. Staff are a massive asset to this pub. Thankyou to all the bar staff and all the other staff for helping our night and making us feel so welcome and understood. Will be coming back as they all were wonderful, once again a massive thankyou from us all!
Visited the Trumpet today. Lovely service, including helping to seat my husband in his Wheelchair. Food arrived very quickly and piping hot. There was that much, I couldn't finish it all. Yes, full marks for everything...we will come again! Thank you very much, Renate and Fred England
Used to frequent and this pub over 30 years ago, returned tonight with the in-laws, I think the empty plates says it all great food lovely staff and good prices. I will be back.
I'd give more stars if possible! We came today for our Christmas Dinner (first time not cooking myself) and wow is all I have to say. The food was amazing and the staff were incredibly wonderful, upbeat and friendly. By far the best Christmas Day we have had. We will be back next year 100%. Also what fab staff posing for a picture! Thank you!
