Yup Coffee

It is the best coffee I've ever had. The setting by the rushing river is spectacular and peaceful and I'm so glad I live so close. I wish they were open on the weekends, and the winter! They also get pastries from a local place, and they aren't that good (to me!) but the bagels they get are amazing - best I've had since moving from NYC two years ago (small blessings, right?). They make their own flavored cream cheeses, which are excellent! Would recommend for locals, but also to people visiting from out of town: based on all the local shops I've been to, this is worth the trip out of downtown Northampton. Update 12/2019: I revoked 1 star because their hours are frustrating. They're not open early enough for before-work coffee, and they're not open on weekends. They close at random weeks and they close for the winter season. I want my coffee place to be totally reliable. But it's still a lovely place run by lovely people, with really good coffee. Would give 4.5 stars.

Great place to sit and drink a very well roasted cup of coffee. It's so peaceful sitting by the Mill river, letting the water carry your cares away. The sound of the water covers the majority of the traffic sounds, you almost feel like you are miles away for the hustle and bustle of life. Great place to recharge your batteries. Would I recommend this place.... the name says it all.

My boyfriend and I made a quick stop here on our way back to Connecticut and we were so delighted! Molly, (I believe... I'm quite bad with names) made a WONDERFUL and perfect maple latte for me. We also shared some great conversation with the owner's parents who contribute to this adorable family business. The coffee was delicious and the people were oh so friendly! We will happily stop here again if our travels find us in the area!
