We passed hereon the way to elsewhere, but with that closed, we went back, we were not disappointed, our food was fab u lous, desserts also great too, staff brilliant, was also able to fit in a large family by us too.
I was a bit dubious whether katsu flavours would work in a burger... and they did! The veggie "chicken" katsu burger was exceptional. And it came in the freshest brioche bun I've ever had, like it was baked to order, so doughy. The Asian slaw was super tasty. And the chips were great quality also. The pub is cute inside and has a nice terrace with additional outdoor tables on the grass. I will be coming back!
Well I cannot fault so 5 stars all the way, the food is exceptional, well cooked and full of flavour. I am fussy, but oast dinner offered lots of meat, big Yorkshire pud and loads of gravy. Staff efficient, and food is worth the money. It is my go to place. Thanks 👍 keep doing what you are doing will be back.
