Went here for a lunch takeaway meal and loved the place. Owner of the cafe: Ruth and her husband were simply lovely. Since I had to idea what to order for a vegan lunch, they helped me to choose the best option and I loved it. My colleague ordered a chicken mean and he loved it too. So affordable and so filling portions. I took 3 rounds to finish the whole meal. Ruth prepares all the sauces, hummus and falafel at home/in-house. So everything tasted very fresh and unique. This was my first Jerusalem Street Food experience and I will definitely return. What I extremely loved loved about the place is they use fully biodegradable cutlery, plates for takeaway. So 10/10 for the sustainable approach in the business. ❤️👏👏

I've been going here for years now and it's always been great food, great prices and great service! The Za'atar roasted veg is my favourite.

Best falafel meze i’ve had since my trip to the Greek side of Cyprus, would definitely recommend. Excellent service. Restaurant decor giving hippie/earthy vibes. Prices are good as well.

Highly recommend to anyone hungry in Norwich! The food is incredibly tasty and the service is equally great. Falafel wrap is certainly a favourite but it is all served in generous portions and at very good prices - I will definitely be back soon!

Authentic Jerusalem street food within the city walls of Norwich. Owners are always so welcoming, very knowledgeable and proud to explain what is on their menu and to show you the special spices they import directly from Golan Heights. The falafel is lovely, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, in a dish it is combined with hummus of outstanding flavour. Then comes the great selection of pickles including gherkins, tiny pattypans, peppers and cabbage to name a few. Fresh salad features on the plate too, spicy sauces all add to create loads of flavour. Just sublime. Mint and lemon tea is a must to complete the authentic experience. If falafel is not your thing you can always try the chicken schnitzel, lamb, shakshuka, kofte, shawarma and Za’atar. There is always a good selection of cakes, vegan ones too. I love coming here for a healthy and tasty bite to eat.

Ruth’s Kitchen is my favourite place to eat in Norwich by far!! I’ve been many times for lunch and it’s always amazing. Equally great for a sit-down lunch with friends or for a quick takeaway. Fresh ingredients, fast service, brilliant staff and very generous portions. Today we had the shakshuka which had incredible depth of flavour. Beats all the shakshukas I have tried in London restaurants! They have different specials each time I go, a nice drinks selection and sweet bites for after like tahini cookies. Everything is proper fresh and homemade. Check it out!

Absolutely delicious, Everything freshly cooked to order, I had the Shawarma Lamb Wrap with everything on it and my son had Falafel Wrap with everything on it. HUGE portions. The bread is soft and doughy and the filling cooked to perfection. Flavour sensation and the best wrap I have tasted in a long time. Authentic, Fantastic people and defo coming back for more. Thanks for bringing your cuisine to Norwich, Highly Recommend xx

Absolutely delicious falaffel, humous and everything else. The flat breads themselves are thick and flavourful. There's a lot of choice and the staff are so friendly, and enthusiastic when explaining the menu. Wish I lived nearer Norwich - I'd be a regular!

Very cosy, warm restaurant. The owner is very friendly and patient by explaining their menu very detail to us. Their food is really delicious and it comes with a huge portion. We didn't manage to finished all the food at last but the owner gives us a takeaway box to bring it back. 👍👍 The restaurant is quite small and pack. So, if you're a group of 5 or above, please make advance booking.
