Cinema City is the best of all worlds. You can see a film with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. The seats are comfortable, the staff are friendly, and there are decent snacks. It's fabulous.

Genuinely, the best cinema I have been to. Friendly and knowledge staff, fantastic range of films, comfortable seats and plenty of leg room and a wonderful selection of food and drink. What more could you ask for.
Beautiful venue! I just went in for a coffee to enjoy the building’s architecture (rather than to watch a film) and staff were super-friendly, making it the perfect pit-stop during my self-guided walking tour of Norwich. I will 100% be doing the same on my next visit 🙏
25.07.2023 Great place to go for children. We saw Zog.
Children £3.30 each, adults free. Less noise, not so dark, very child friendly. Can buy snacks at the entrance.
We recently hosted a wedding event at Cinema City, and could not have been more impressed and thrilled with the service we received! James and the whole team went the extra mile and made sure we had a very special event. The attention to detail with all the planning was incredible, and nothing was too much to ask. I had lots of decorations and very specific requirements for the event, and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and all my hopes for the day were met. The dining rooms and courtyard were the beautiful setting for our event, and all the guests commented on how delicious the food was. Communication with the events team was always great, making the whole booking and planning process super smooth. Could not recommend Cinema City enough for any type of event you may have!
Always clean and tidy, friendly staff at the desk, a good place to see a movie. The restaurant is not as good as it was, almost no food choices .. only pizza on the day we went despite checking online before going and the restaurant staff are stressed. But lots of other food joints in the city.. and the wine and popcorn is good :)
This is a gorgeous cinema and there’s always something interesting on (as well as the usual films you’d expect). There’s also great deals for members including special screenings, discounts, and free coffees.
My only criticism (and you might see this as a perk) is that alcohol is allowed in the screens. This is great if you want a fancy drink but it also means there’s the chance of drunk people. The last two showings I’ve been to have been disrupted by people making excessive noise or frequently getting up to go to the loo/get more drinks. If this would annoy you too, perhaps go for a daytime screening.
Even if you don’t go to the cinema here, stop in for coffee and/or food, it’s great!
Cinema City is located at City Centre, St Andrews St, Norwich NR2 4AD. A bar restaurant is attached to the cinema. Comfortable seating area, both inside and outside the Cafe. Wide variety of sets meal under the menu "Brunch" are available for selection. Favourite on Eggs benedict, light breakfast,..etc. You have to wait a little bit longer for food ready serve at table. Overall good experience and recommend here to enjoy for lunch.
Pleasant environment and love the historical aspect. Sat in the courtyard for brunch. Definitely a little tired and felt a bit 'unloved' perhaps - but theatre seats were very comfortable. I'd go back to the cafe to give it another shot, and definitely see another movie there.
Great little find for a place for a even meal, simple selection of either, Tapas style dishes or Pizza.
Just the best place to enjoy a film, coffee or glass of wine in hand. Nice bar and great restaurant too.
Brilliant cinema showing less mainstream content. Great atmosphere and the team is so helpful too. Amazing customer service from Will recently, who dealt with my many queries and ticket changes calmly and professionally. Thank you Will!
