Red Mango Indian Restaurant

ENDED UP IN A&E Went here with family for a meal and ended up having to go to A&E later on in the night due to food poisoning. The crazy thing is that the food was so appalling that I didn't even eat much, all I had was a few bites of my starters which were freezing cold, flavourless and dry. None of my family as well as me had anything good to say about the food. The food being poor isn't even the main issue, the place itself and the atmosphere is worse than a prison cell. There are flies flying around everywhere and the entire place smells due to the woman's toilets leaking straight out of the toilet and in to the main entrance way. I could also see that the cloth that was covering the table was dirty (probably due to previous customers) so I asked for that to be changed or for us to be moved to a new table and the waiters refused they said that they had bookings. But I kid you not there was genuinely only two tables in the whole restaurant that was occupied. Anyway and the excuse for not changing the cloth was that their manager isn't in. The customer service was appalling, the waiters didn't seem to care about any of their customers. They didn't even bother asking when we wanted to order in fact I couldn't even find the waiters. I had to get up from my seat and go find someone and ask if they could take my order. All in all food was poor, service was poor, and the place is worse than a landfill with bad odour and flees. Oh and let's not forget the 6 hour wait in A&E. Save your self some trouble and don't go here guys.

I ordered for delivery on a Monday evening. The food was apparently out for delivery for over 30 minutes (for a journey that takes less than half that) resulting in very Luke warn food. The red Mango supreme contained 6 thin pieces of chicken and the container was mostly made up of sauce with a bland taste. Onion Bahjs were dry and barely warm. Naan bread was chewy and damp. Rice was cold which presents real safety issues. I don't normally leave negative reviews but this was such a poor experience I felt it was needed.

Recently ordered a delicious balti Curry from red mango for collection. Upon arrival the restaurant had a nice quiet, calm and relaxing atmosphere. I was greeted with a lovely warm smile by a young, pretty and polite waitress, who knew my name and knew I was coming. I was 10 minutes early and still only waited 2 or 3 minutes for my order. This is when Amran (who was a delight and very friendly) informed me that he had provided me with a rice, popperdum and onion salad free of charge, as the curry comes alone. After shaking Amrans hand, I was ecstatic to say the least. Thankyou so much red mango, I shall be returning!
