Greggs

Just had a delivery. What's this a perfectly packaged, not a drop spilled and the perfect temperature hot chocolate! Two crisp bags adorned with a smiley face and an "enjoy!" and enjoy I did! Perfect hot pizza, warm pastries and flakey sausage rolls. It was as if my order was cooked just for me with love and care. Whoever worked on Thursday 24th in the evening you are stars!

Good selection of boxed cakes and biscuits, good prices and friendly service. The coffee is really nice too, it was actually better than most I've had elsewhere. I just can't bring myself to give Greggs 5 stars as they've stopped doing iced buns and the long strawberry doughnuts, they were my favourite!! Start doing them again and you'll be 5 star!

As a vegetarian (I know, why do they always have to say they're vegatarin) I always find it to be a bit of an ordeal to find quick tasty food. Most places tend to either opt for over the top flavour combinations (looking at you Pret) or just don't really provide anything worth getting (looking at you McDonald's) which is a pain. However, the vegan sausage roll has become a staple when I'm wandering about anywhere and I spot a Gregg's. The taste is great and it's so cheap that it's hard to turn it down. Along with that there's always the vegan steakbake or cheesy pizza, both of which are tasty alternatives to the sausage roll. Gregg's to me has become a bit of a godsend and for that it gets full marks.

Very clean and tidy branch. Great customer service. The food was great apart from the two doughnuts we ordered, they were both coated with icing but different flavours yet both had a subtle aniseed flavour to them, unless recipes have changed, don’t recall doughnuts tasting like that. It was subtle enough to get through the doughnuts but not something we’d order again as not massive aniseed flavour fans but overall a good establishment.
