A busy, but very well organised restaurant with polite and helpful staff. Friendly banter at the carvery counter itself. All carvery items were well cooked, delicious and hot. Great variety of meats and vegetables.
Well. What can I say. What a truly delightful restaurant / pub. Lots of charm, wonderful staff and great food. Carvey was delicious. Beef was cooked to pink perfection. Unfortunately this was so bad. The meat was fine but the vegetables were just boiled and plain, roasties were burnt and the gravy was weird and made everything taste worse. I have no idea how this has such good reviews. Also it was £60 for 2 adult meals, one child and 1 Coke zero. Sad times.
