I've literally tried every single carribean resturant/takeaway in Nottingham over the years. Tried this one last week and the taste of the food was absolutely amazing. It really was spot on. We had 2x curried mutton with rice and peas, steamed veg, a large portion of Ox tail and 2 x lamb patties.. Everything was proper tasty and the ox tail was the nicest I've ever had so was the curried mutton!!! Literally the only bad thing was the portion of meat in the curried mutton was very very small. The vast majority of it was massive bones but I do prefer my curried mutton with the bones cuz that's were all the flavour comes from but they definitely should try and make the ratio in the meals more evenly. It's a shame as the food was amazing but if we hadn't ordered the large oxtail then we wouldn't of had no were near enough meat and gravy for 3½ massive scoops of rice and peas each Will definitely return but will tell the lady to chill out on the bones next time 😂

I had many patties goat and beef I've eaten them all so no pictures yet to show, the rest of the food menu looks great but haven't tried yet. So my review comes mainly from the impression their patties had on me and also their jerk chicken coco bread, I definitely can say that they have a recipe passed down generation's.

First visit for me here today, mutton soup and curried chicken rice n peas, wow, just wow. There's a 1 star review on here regarding being white and ignored, I'm white and the the shop had a few none white guys in there, I felt no problem at all, even had a nice chat with the chefs as they used to work at a different shop I used to use... Luck for me I'm working 2 mins away so I'll be eating there daily..
