We have been coming here for years and it never disappointed. We went in last on 19th January and Luigi said it would be changing hands very soon and we could see by the look on his face he seemed to be upset on leaving. The food and atmosphere never faltered. We hope the new owners don't make it into a "hip and happening" place to be. It has lots of regulars and we dare say they will lose custom if things change drastically. My favourite and the best restaurant in Nottingham. This traditional family Italian never fails to disappoint on both the food and service. We are regulars and can honestly say we have never had a bad experience. Personal highlights are the steak Diane, lasagne and avocado prawns. You will not be disappointed! 10/10!

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant. Wonderful food at excellent value for money prices. Super quality, tasty food. Probably the nicest Italian we've been to in quite some time. Despite living a 30 mile round trip away, we'll be back.

Doesn't compare to my local family owned Italian in Sheffield, Piccolo's (West Street) but the staff were funny, welcoming and my partner helped clear our table which we had a laugh about with the owner. Wish the portions were bigger but overall a nice evening

Came here for valentine's day and had a really good time. Everyone working seemed to be having a lot of fun and the food was excellent. Initially I was a little disappointed with the size of my main course because it looked very small but it had actually just been craftily prepared and was plenty! Absolutely planning on coming here again

Local Sherwood restaurant apparently family run in good old fashioned Italian style. Good food at reasonable prices but service a tad too informal. Beware the host doubling up as an entertainer bursting into song (Italian) and cracking old dad jokes, naturally all in good humour. Definitely would visit again to enjoy the food preferably without the unsolicited entertainment.

Highly recommend. Our waitress was so funny and food was amazing. Decor and atmosphere typical of an authentic Italian. Really lovely little gem. Couldn’t believe how cheap it was for a three course meal!
