Another city another Spoons for breakfast. Can honestly say best I've had in a long while. Presentation is everything. Eggs were cooked, albeit not over easy, but prefer them cooked than snotty.
Nice and clean
Cheap drinks, but quality all the same, service good and always a mix of different ages students or hen/stag dos from various parts of the country. Some groups just out in there from a good weekend. Security very good on the doors but pleasant.
Good choice of drinks and shots. Cheaper then most places. Bar staff seemed nice enough.
Group of 6 up for the cricket, rained off so found ourselves somewhere to have a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. Chose this pub and pleased we did. Food for a Wetherspoons was very good. Great service too
This was a lovely pub to drink at during the night, where me and my friend sat on comfortable chairs with slick patterns! It was something unique seeing the staircase's design and the atmosphere was superb, with the tables having cleanliness maintained. The staff were really friendly and served me my drink very quickly, which was satisfying for the time!
Went for a drink post-theatre and pre-meal. Great atmosphere. Lots of people enjoying themselves (even the Grimsby fans). Even though it was busy, we got served very quick. Good city centre location.
Good food, a bit crouded but spent time nicely
Right bang opposite to the city centre, good menu on food and prices are great especially if you're a student. I ended up ordering two burgers , good size on both of them, the skinless breast burger was a bit dry and it became difficult to swallow after I had chewed it, but overall it was good.
The interior are nice for a pleasant evening with friends and family and a casual drink.
The staff are very friendly.
I'd definitely go back if ever wanted to have a decent burger and chicken.
They also have an app , which you can use while being seated, via the app you can order and pay online and the food will be brought to you at your table. The day I visited , the app had some issues, but I'm sure it's fixed now.
Everything about this place was great... polite staff, great food, amazing atmosphere. Ordered fish and chips and it came within 20 minutes piping hot.
