Wow what a great bar - not only a fantastic selection of drinks, a 'to die for' burger menu (which may I add lived up to & beyond my expectations after I managed to finish it all) but also friendly & welcoming staff. It is very rare I get 3 out of 3. I would highly recommend to friends & family, prob the best burger I have ever had & just love the blush cider on draught!!! I will be returning when in the area.
Great pub with a great selection of beers, wines and lagers. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Ideal for a quick bite and a drink before any event at the Motorpoint Arena, and why not have a cheeky one after as well!
Just been there for a drink as it was a hot day and ended up spending more time because they have very nice craft beers. Tried whatever I cloud try without being drunk 😅. Nice cosy place, big room, live music with good service. Outdoor seating available.
Very different offerings to when I was young lad. They've got a decent craft selection on the board now to go with the usual suspects. Had some fantastic new beers there recently, but of course, they weren't cheap.
Came for a gig, which was held upstairs. The venue was very cool. Place was packed, but still felt comfortable. The bar upstairs had a pretty basic selection of beers/spirits, but the main bar downstairs had a great selection. Prices were very reasonable.
Nice bar outside the arena, staff on duty were friendly and the bar was clean. Its a decent bar, sat outside for probably 2 hrs. Only issue is, you do get asked for change by the local bums hanging around the area.
This place is a gem. Went for an open mic night. Staff are super friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced and the street food is insanely good!
Good selection of beers on the go and worth the slight walk to the end of Hockley from the centre to try them. Usually busy with a nice outside area.
This is a nice "traditional" old style pub , with outdoor seating, with parasols over the tables, where you can smoke outside.... Face masks now NOT mandatory , for inside drinking....But, a good choice of wines , beers spirits, inside..... Friendly bar staff,.... And looks like it's a local for the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey fans , as there's ice hockey team shirts in there, and other ice hockey paraphanalia, on the walls. It's right next to the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena where they have music concerts........👍👍 Prices seem ok.....
Didn't try any food, good selection of drinks with nice prices. Staff always friendly 🙂
With a large bar with nice decor views through the large windows, good sized beer garden when weathers good, great selection of beers that start in ver reasonable price range there's a lot going for it
I've not been there much before but a couple of events in their nice function room I'd certainly recommend it.
Great bar, fun atmosphere. We were upstairs for a friends birthday in a nice room. Excellent beer, but terrible wine.
