Pizza Express

The food was very flavoursome and prepared well and in suitable time. We had gluten free and have had no effects from a mixed source kitchen. They also offered gluten free beer and desserts. The lady waiting on us was helpful and polite but generally the staff seemed a bit lethargic. I had to ask for clean cutlery which was a disappointment. But the pizzas themselves were very good.

We went just before the Disney on Ice show with our daughter. Our booking mistakenly said for 2 people, but the staff sorted it and got us sat down. Service was very quick and efficient and the waitress was very friendly and polite. The food as usual was enjoyed by all and we tried the festive pulled pork pizza which was delicious. We were very happy. Only little thing is the place seems very dated and could do with a refurb but it didn't impact on the food and service.

Loved eating here recently. We've visited the Goosegate restaurant twice in the last two weeks and the service and food were just as great both times. The manager in particular was really friendly and took an interest in our 19 month old daughter which was nice. He brought her some crayons and watched for the ones she threw on the floor so he could give them back while walking past. She waved goodbye to the staff and they waved back with smiles when we were leaving which she loved. It's these little things that made the meal (both times) a nice experience so we will be back. All round friendly restaurant and people, and really good pizza. Thanks guys.

My last visit was with our school. The staff was excellent. The children were engaged with the activity. I had a child with special needs and the staff did everything to accommodate us. I go to eat there with friends and family as well and the service and the quality of the food is always of high standards when the bill is average. I definitely recommend it.
