Just experienced a wonderful party here for our eldest’s 6th birthday. The staff were super helpful, and dealt with varying food allergies and intolerances so well; it was a great relief. The chef who did the actual party was very helpful and had a lovely, kind and warm personality. The children had a great time and enjoyed eating their creations. Very grateful to all at pizza express goose gate who helped to make the party a success.

Brilliant meal, lovely and tasty and came quickly, there wasn’t any heating tonight but the Wonderful Dylan seated us next to the radiator. Top meal, would most definitely come back. 10/10������������

The food was very flavoursome and prepared well and in suitable time. We had gluten free and have had no effects from a mixed source kitchen. They also offered gluten free beer and desserts. The lady waiting on us was helpful and polite but generally the staff seemed a bit lethargic. I had to ask for clean cutlery which was a disappointment. But the pizzas themselves were very good.

My last visit was with our school. The staff was excellent. The children were engaged with the activity. I had a child with special needs and the staff did everything to accommodate us. I go to eat there with friends and family as well and the service and the quality of the food is always of high standards when the bill is average. I definitely recommend it.

We went just before the Disney on Ice show with our daughter. Our booking mistakenly said for 2 people, but the staff sorted it and got us sat down. Service was very quick and efficient and the waitress was very friendly and polite. The food as usual was enjoyed by all and we tried the festive pulled pork pizza which was delicious. We were very happy. Only little thing is the place seems very dated and could do with a refurb but it didn't impact on the food and service.

My partner and I typically find this Pizza Express better than the other one in the city centre. The staff are normally fine and the food is what you'd expect. The other benefit of this restaurant over the other one in the city is that it's normally as busy meaning the service is faster.

Loved eating here recently. We've visited the Goosegate restaurant twice in the last two weeks and the service and food were just as great both times. The manager in particular was really friendly and took an interest in our 19 month old daughter which was nice. He brought her some crayons and watched for the ones she threw on the floor so he could give them back while walking past. She waved goodbye to the staff and they waved back with smiles when we were leaving which she loved. It's these little things that made the meal (both times) a nice experience so we will be back. All round friendly restaurant and people, and really good pizza. Thanks guys.

I like the food. It was fantastic and delicious. I gave 4 stars because the seat we have been given in first place was so much in corner despite whole restaurant had mainly empty tables. We asked to move and the waitress sorted another table for us. She was helpful. Though nobody came to ask for anything else or how was the food after we have been served. We went around 14.00 on Saturday.

Staff did really well with our awkward family GF/DF dietary requirements and everything was delicious and nicely ccooked. Fast & friendly service. Only not 5 stars as our table had a few crumbs and a bit of rubbish on the floor despite the restaurant bring empty when we arrived.

The pizzas here really are delicate and delicious. I feel like this is how pizza should be - more about the gorgeous topping combinations! It's a lovely step up from pizza hut style dining out, so it feels like more of a treat. But it's still a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Sunday 13 Oct 2019 at 9pm. Waiter was superb even though it was quiet (three pizzas were all excellent and the cheesecake was sublime) but the service was exceptional. Thank you whoever you were.
