Rita's Overlea Fullerton

Just came with my husband. I ordered a twist cone with chocolate sprinkles. She brought us a cup of twist custard, no sprinkles and a cup of vanilla custard with cookies on it. I told her the order was wrong and she tells me the total without saying if she was going to get the right stuff so I had to ask. Then she rolls my cone in the sprinkles which is a disgusting health code violation and doesn’t even cover the whole cone. She spoke very quietly and did not get louder when I asked her to repeat herself. Worst experience at a Rita’s ever.

Showed up at 6:50pm to everything shut off and the "open" signed turned off. As we were reading the sign on the door and employee comes from in the back and says they are about to close so everything is off. When my husband asked what time they closed she said 8pm. So they shut down an hour early and said the custard machine was "not working" which makes me believe she cleaned it or turned it off already so we couldn't get that. The only reason its 2 stars is because she offered another flavor when one of theirs was dry.

I cannot resist a Rita's vanilla custard with chocolate sprinkles. This time I got to overhear the franchise owner coaching his employees on how to protect and present the image of the business and brand. It was a pleasure and made me feel even better about supporting his store. The service is outstanding because he cares and he teaches and expects his team to care. I'm a believer!!!

I can’t wait until the Joppa Road location is open again. I pulled in nine minutes to closing, and there were still people being waited on so I thought great I’m not the only one coming late. The employees refuse to wait on me they said they were closed. Meanwhile they were still making the other peoples treats. I told them it was still six minutes to closing But the worker said his clock says 8 o’clock, and they were waiting on people. I showed them my phone and told them it was 7:54, but they insisted they were closed and refused me service. I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life. I will be contacting management.
