Dinner 12 course tasting menu. We have been following the progress of this Farm restaurant in Plungar since they opened. We'd been meaning to try it out for ages. You arrive at a unique, off the beaten track destination at a farm. You are greeted by the warmest of welcomes from Grace. Who shows you to the bar/lounge area for pre-dinner drinks, and Rich serves you one of the tastiest Charcuterie. You are led through a large rusty door to a beautiful restaurant with a log burner at one end and the kitchen at the other. Tables are well spaced out, and it's almost like private dining. They also have a chefs bench for those who like to be close to the action. The imaginative 12-course tasting menu is served using unusual fresh herbs, fruit, and vegetables grown literally outside the door. You don't get to see the menu until the end,so just sit back and enjoy all the little surprises served to you. Aiming to be at least 80% self-sustaining as a restaurant, this really is worth seeking out and giving a try. The cooking is delicious, and Richard and Grace are the perfect hosts. Not forgetting the lovely Joel. This is a must try for foodies who want something a little different. Get booked in before the guides catch up

This place is fantastic. From the moment you arrive you feel like nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We started with drinks and nibbles in the Orangery, overlooking an amazing herb and vegetable garden. The tasting menu isn’t a meal out it’s an experience and one I cannot recommend enough. The food is outstanding and absolutely worth every penny - I’ve been lucky enough to have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants. The flavours in this restaurant are clever, highly creative and beautifully presented. Every dish was a delight. All the staff were incredible, really lovely. They were all very personable, knowledgeable and very passionate about the dishes. This is a great way to run a restaurant - high quality, amazing and welcoming service and sustainability through using own or local seasonal produce. Thank you one and all at Restaurant Jericho for giving us a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be visiting again

We had a wonderful evening with friends at Restaurant Jericho. We were greeted by Tom and had aperitifs by a cosy wood burner before being taken to the main restaurant. We chose the taster menu with wine pairing. The food looked amazing and tasted superb. Each of the 12 courses were perfectly presented and described in detail to us by Tom and Grace. The wine pairing was a lovely addition and Tom’s knowledge and enthusiasm for the different wines was impressive and really added to the overall experience. Most of the food had been sourced locally and it was clear that a lot of attention and thought had been given to the provenance and sustainability which was really appreciated. The service by all the staff was excellent - Tom and Grace were attentive but relaxed and friendly and Rich (in the open kitchen) worked steadily all evening to produce a very well balanced, unusual and thoughtful menu. All in all, a wonderful evening and a true culinary seasonal experience. Well done Restaurant Jericho👏👏👏

I dined here last night with my wife for a special occasion. Unbelievable food, service, wine pairings, atmosphere - the team nailed every element. It's an expensive meal but worth every penny. Incredible value when you see how much work goes into creating each dish. I'd absolutely come back again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a really special dining experience. You won't be disappointed.

A wonderful experience, in a beautiful setting with stunning food and an amazing team! From the greeting at the front door, to the end of the night you couldn't ask for more! Each dish arrives with an explanation is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. The team work seamlessly in the background to create a bespoke, intimate experience. We had lovely food in its previous incarnation (Dickies) and this is a step up again. Carefully considered food with respect given to every ingredient and care for the impact the whole meal has on food waste and the local environment. With the owners picking herbs for the next course as you eat and seasonal food from the farm and its neighbours just adds to the experience. We look forward to coming back at different times of the year as the menu changes.

Our top culinary experience of 2022 by a country mile. My boyfriend and I stumbled across this gem spontaneously, having gone to Belvoir Castle that day, escaping London for the weekend. We had no expectations which meant I turned up in my oversize jumper and jeans, but despite the Michelin star level of experience this didn’t feel out of place. Starting in the orangery for drinks and the first delicious courses before being guided through to the dining room, completely in tune with all other guests, was a unique but exciting way to start the evening and it set the right tone. Our focus was always brought back to the food and Tom did a wonderful job of guiding us through the mouth watering journey. Every ingredient was carefully considered and uber locally sourced, making each dish an artistic master piece. The setting was beautiful. The open kitchen meant that you were being teased between courses, trying to guess what was going to arrive next. Some of the other reviews have commented on the cost of this experience, but we were pleasantly surprised at the price tag, probably as we used to London prices. I would, and do, recommend this to everyone, particularly those who think they have experienced everything… this place will shock and relight your passion for food.

Definitely destination dining! We arrived to a beautiful sunset and we welcomed into the orangery for pre dinner drinks and canapes which were delicious and new flavour combinations to me but worked beautifully. We then moved through for dinner consisting of multiple highlights. The dish based on the homegrown tomatos was a taste sensation, the pigeon, the chicken and the pork all off the chart delicious. We had the accompanying wine list and the staff were very knowledgable about the wines and the provinance of all the dishes. Overall a fantastic evening, more than just a meal out. Highly recommend
