Met up with family for lunch, hadn't booked but that wasn't a problem. The food was excellent and the staff were very tentative and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely chilled pub Lunch here, black pudding stack was delicious,as was the crème brulé.
Staff provided excellent service and the food was really tasty. Decent size car park attached.

We went for a pre birthday meal here our second visit. Staff are really nice, polite and helpful. The meal was delicious. We had pate for starters which was really nice I had the suet meat pudding, hubby had steak and ale pie, lovely food and nice staff and atmosphere. Recommended

Went for food on the way to Tandle Hill and had the dog and 5 year old with us. The food was amazing and really reasonably priced. The atmosphere was really relaxed and casual with a mixed clientele, all enjoying food and drinks in the sun with family and friends. I love this pub.

Great atmosphere both inside and out in the spacious beer garden. Food was good and pricing wasn't too bad either. Highly recommend both as a local and for a family meal or group get together

Well arranged outdoor seating with well kept shrubbery. Ample parking for the size of the establishment. Large standing bar with plenty of room and no waiting to be served. Food was great, burger was packed with meat, cooked well with fresh salad. Waited 45 mins for food although we went at peak time without booking, the place was packed out and we were advised of the wait upon ordering. More than happy, will definitely return.

We went in later on a Sunday and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Good to see it back firing again. The new look is brilliant too!
