The best (vegan) burger I’ve ever had. Possibly because you can mix and choose to make your own perfect burger. I ordered a quarter pounder on a burger bun with everything (toppings) except for Jalapeños, and garlic mayo, bbq, and mustard for sauce. All vegan. The dirty fries were exceptional as well! They had non-alcoholic mocktails for cheap so we had those as well - perfect for the sunny outdoors.
We waited for a table outside to open up while enjoying our drinks inside. The owners were exceptional with their service (surprising considering how busy the place was) and promptly moved us outdoors when a table opened up. Let them know if you’d like to sit outside when it is full so that they may look out for you. Might be subject to how busy they are.
Traditional style pub with table service. Friendly and helpful staff, and great vegetarian and vegan food. So nice to actually have a good choice, no meat or fish on the menu at all. Also has a garden. Very much recommended. May need to book .
Very decent place! Great for both drinks and food. What is remarkable are the staff, very kind and welcoming, and makes you feel at home.
A great affordable option for vegetarians. The atmosphere is very cosy and the food was very tasty!
The Gardeners arms is my favourite pub in Oxford. We regularly go to their pub quiz, which seems to have flown under the student radar and is therefore less rowdy and a much cozier atmosphere! There are two front rooms, a back room and a garden so plenty of space too- and dogs are allowed out back!
The food has never disappointed me! It’s affordable and plant based, I couldn’t ask for more. The bar staff are amazing, so so kind and helpful.
Nice place. We went for dinner. Got to sit in the comfortable back room. Service was excellent and so was the food. Big portions. Drinks were good as well. Well worth going again. Highly recommended.
I always like cheerful, chatty wait staff so they always get a better rating from me. One thing to keep in mind the wait staff here only gets the tip if you give it in cash, so carry some cash if you are the tipping kind, I am, but I know there is not a big tipping culture in UK.
I would recommend this place.

We went here for our 27th wedding anniversary as it was just my husband and I. He had been there the week before, on a pub crawl with his mates and had seen the food and thought I'd like it❤️Great Veggie restaurant - pub style food. Cosy pub with fantastic options both for Vegetarians and Vegan's, at reasonable prices. It has a great atmosphere, with great beer and delicious non-alcoholic drinks. I don't drink so I had a delicious Passion fruit 'Martini'.
Looking forward to returning soon.

Loved the food. Excellent for vegetarians and vegans. Definitely revisiting.
Have revisited many times now. And everything is really good. Really every single item has its own excellence. The staff are extremely friendly and they have quiz nights and got to know that head chef is the quiz master. The chef is really multi talented. Amazing atmosphere and much more amazing people. Mini little retro style pub. Loved the cheesy fries. Quite busy. Only issue is extremely small bathroom. Otherwise worthy revisits.
Sunday is a quiz night and the best night. Kitchen closes early at 8. But drinks served all through the night and one of the best fun nights I have ever had. The head chef is the quiz master and is really a master. Would love to participate in more such quiz nights and highly recommended..

Great little pub-like restaurant serving vegan and vegetarian fare.
Service is at the table and you'll eventually be assigned one by a waiter as you enter.
Decor is inline with a pub aesthetic: dark wooden interior along with a feeling of an English living room as books sit in corners on shelves to tempt you while you wait for your order.
Food is decent and vegan items are clearly labelled on the menu. The 'spicy chicken' kebab bowl is filling and varied enough to satiate a hungry diner. They do a tasty alcohol-free cider too which is hidden under the 'Beers' category on the menu.
I've deducted a star because the ambience is a bit off-putting with the music played, sometimes directly above your head - often heavy metal and high BPM punk rock music which does not for a peaceful meal make. The service is a bit inattentive as well as I had to go up to the bar area to get them to take an order and to pay. If these things improve I'll bear no hesitation in recommending this lovely place in Jericho.
They do accept card payment but not AmEx.
A real gem in Jericho. Fantastic vegetarian (and vegan) food, loved by meat eaters like me as well! I've tried so many of their dishes and they've all been superb. Great location with a brilliant, spacious garden. Really friendly and helpful staff.
