A traditional pub, serving great beer and food. Always welcoming, couldn't recommend more highly
Everything that should be found within a great British drinking establishment - Great beer, food and a warm welcome. Occasionally even stimulating company & fine entertainment
Had the pleasure of stumbling into this delightful British pub and instantly hit by its warm and inviting ambiance with cozy wooden furnishings and low hanging ceilings. The bar serves up a delicious selection of drops 🍻too served in handles/pots. Each sip was a delightful journey. Food menu was classic pub-fare and all tasted of homemade deliciousness. A genuine 💎 is the 🌹&👑, cannot wait to visit again.
Lovely pub. Very good beer. Great olde English atmosphere.
Sitting in the street outside having a pint. Lovely.
I didn't eat so can't rate the food.
I couldn’t resist visiting a pub in Oxford with the same name as the pub in the England pavilion at Epcot. It did not disappoint. Cute garden area out back with tons of seating. Yummy fries and good beer.
Absolutely delighted with my experience at the Rose & Crown Public House! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed warmly by the friendly staff. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the decor is truly charming.
The menu is varied and delicious, with plenty of options for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips - crisp, golden batter and perfectly cooked, flaky fish. The portion sizes were generous and left me feeling satisfied.
The drinks selection is equally impressive, with a great choice of local and international beers, wines and spirits.
The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They truly made us feel like valued customers.
Overall, I had a wonderful evening at the Rose & Crown Public House and will definitely be back again soon. I highly recommend this charming establishment to anyone looking for a top-notch pub experience.
Came here for the Ploughmans and wasn’t disappointed. Limited seating. Greeted by the local drunk which was awesome and wacky. Staff was amazing.
This is a friendly British pub on N Parade Ave. You can taste a variety of beers and British pies.
Visited for a late morning pint after not having been there for many years. The building still retains its unique charm and new management was efficient and helpful. Sadly the pub has, in recent years, fallen in with "normal" practice and no longer continues to open into the middle of the night. Food looked interesting but we were on a mission to visit several pubs in Oxford. Definitely on the list for another visit.
Curious bar area with just 2/3 tables, which I liked, rather than their bespoke dining area.
Lovely beers, and we enjoyed the food too.
I had the strange vegetarian Buddha Bowl that turned out to be delicious and I'm not even a veggie!
I go here too many times. I don't drink but the meals here are very tasty straightforwardly British food. A quality independent pub, it's charm and character beat any chain. Also the chips are too good ....
What a lovely small pub. Great beers and a good selection of whisky.
They have an outdoor area and have live Jazz at certain times.
The outdoor area has sparkly lights so I can imagine it has a lovely atmosphere in the evenings.
