Very good place offering variety of cuisines including Indian, Chinese, Thai and Bangladeshi. The owner is from Bangladesh and is an extremely helpful person. They offer both dine-in and home delivery. Food price is reasonable, quantity is more than sufficient. Taste also is very good. Highly recommended for those who is looking for Halal options in Oxford.
Nice simple selection of food and nice looking place. I tried some of pretty much every food and the quality was pretty consistent. The staff are amazing always offering extras like fresh naan included in the meal price and are very attentive for a self serve. Would recommend.

The service is amazing, the food is great and the owners are lovely. We held a Charity Auction dinner here and it was a huge success, with lots of donations raised for a good cause. Couldn't have been achieved without the overall excellence of the Restaurant and am looking forward to going again!!
Our first time eating out on the Cowley Road in Oxford for many years, and we are so glad we found Achaar. The best curry we have had for a very long time. My wife loved her lamb (Sag Gosht) and the Chicken Jalfrezi that I had was delicious. Perfect heat. Great service, and nice ambience (really liked the tranquil background music). We’ll be back!
The food was really nice and authentic with lots of options. The tom yum soup was very tasty and spicy, just how I like it.
I really liked the cauliflower in sweet chilli sauce. So delicious and good combination.

I enjoyed a very lovely dinner here with my wife and toddler.
We arrived without a reservation but was seated straight away, with a high chair for the baby.
The dishes were a variety of Chinese, Thai, and Bangladeshi, and halal. All dishes were on offer, freshly cooked and topped up.
The price was ok for a buffet, quality of food and , service. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.
If I'm in Oxford again, I would definitely be coming back.
Food was good and you can eat as much as you like. Bit slow in topping up dishes but rest of service very good. Prices decent. Clean tidy plenty of seating. Very varied menu. You do have a steep climb to make if the lift isn't working. No nearby parking.
