I normally avoid Oxford curry houses but this one is a gem. Each dish was cooked with the right spices in the right proportion;the bread was wonderful; the pink Kashmiri tea just as I remembered it; the phirni wasvamazing. Hands down the best North Indian place in town. Plus Rizwan Bhai and his team makes it feel like you are having a family meal.
We came all the way from London (and Japan) to try this place out... bloody marvellous! The balance of heat and flavour in the vindaloo was outstanding, the cumin rice was, er, cuminy, and the fish pakora was fishy-finger-licking good. We'll be back for more ... in two weeks time, as it happens. Lock up your chillies! �
Just had an amazing meal! Real Indian Punjabi food, at a very reasonable price. No license but they're happy for you to byo for small corkage. Would definitely eat here again if in the area
