You can get a great view of Christ Church from here. Staff is friendly and helpful. If my memory is correct, there wasn't free wifi though. The food is simple but not bad.

Friendly & efficient service. First choice location for a morning coffee but good meals for lunch here too. 10% discount for HMCT staff. Great range of cakes/cookies. Caters for both takeaway and sit-down. Not bad prices too.

Nicely presented food at OK prices. Baked potato and prawn mayo and a large hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was just under £11. Not a very generous portion of prawn mayo though and although there was a lettuce leaf on the plate I wouldn't have called it a side salad as it was more like a stingy afterthought. My friend had chilli with her baked potato and there was no comparison in the portion size. I felt a bit short changed. Better to charge slightly more for prawn if cost was the issue and give a decent helping. Place was v busy but it was pouring rain outside. Staff were reasonably attentive but we asked for tap water in addition to the hot chocolate which we had to remind them about. There is only one toilet in this place which was a nuisance as there was a constant queue. It is right beside the till so you feel like you are constantly in the way.

Beef chilli jacket potato. Homemade chilli was very simply the best I have ever had. I urge you to try it. Nice environment, a little hot on a baking day, but we managed to find a seat near a floor fan. Friendly staff and fantastic, REALLY fantastic lunch. Good place to eat if you are waiting to catch your boat trip from nearby Folly Bridge.

The food was well presented but the taste was average. Nice to have a coffee before or after visiting Christ Church college. Had a surprise of little Easter eggs with tea. Friendly staff !

Simple cafe with homemade sandwiches and soup. Very reasonable for its quality. Right front of Christchurch. Great location for quick stop while sightseeing.

Great sandwiches served in a friendly and quiet atmosphere. The waitress Got 2 out of 3 orders wrong but 1 was swiftly corrected with a smile and the other mistanke was benign. I will certainly come back

I love the decor here and the Alice in Wonderland art. I had traditional afternoon tea here and the earl grey tea and the sandwiches were very good but the cakes were all dry. The best spot is the corner table by the window - great for people watching!
