Salt 'n' Sauce made me fall in love with fish and chips. The Beer battered fresh haddock fillet and Triple cooked beef dripping chunky chips was to die for And having a student was a plus. Great customer service. I am most definitely going back for more.
Very nice staff, good meal deal price at £10 for fish and chips and a drink, also a 15% Student discount - some may call this pricey for fish and chips, but it is meant to be more artisanal than regular fish and chip shops. They advertise their chunky chips as cooked in beef dripping, but we’re very happy to do them for me without. The fish batter was also extremely tasty, recommended
I thought it was quite nice. The fish was nice and crispy, whilst being soft on the inside. It wasn't too oily either. The chips were good as well, salt and vinegar are on the side so you can add however much you want. I would say it is a bit pricey, though the prices are in line with the other restaurants around it.

Salt n Sauce in part of the Oxford Social at the new Westgate Shopping centre. I ate here on a recent visit. the food was very nice, my only complaint would be that I like my fish skinned and the one I had wasn't... but that is just a personal preference. It tasted great. The food felt a like expensive but again that could be because I'm from the north and fish and chips is cheaper up north.
I came after a long shift at work and was greeted by really friendly and smiley staff (which was great as I was so tired and really brightened up my day!!!). Very quick service and I couldn’t recommend the chips with cheese and bacon enough! Being a student I still found the prices really reasonable and was well worth the extra compared to McDonalds/Burger King! Will be back soon! :)
Finally a restaurant who knows how to do proper Fish and chips.
Crispy on the outside fresh and juicy on the inside. A cut above the rest !

Not a fish lover but I go for their Chicken dish! Tastes great and really friendly staff, I was served by Sarah who was very helpful!
Nice friendly staff,Chicken burger tasted excellent,Kimchi Mayo is out of this world first time i tried it but just that would make me drive back from London.Dont forget to try the ice cream it was seriously good.
