Rickshaw Boy

A super Chinese take away positioned right on the harbour. An open kitchen so you can watch the staff cook the food. Prices are very good and food is delicious. We asked for forks and spoons and ate our food overlooking the harbour. A few "timed" parking spaces opposite but I think free after 6pm. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Ordered on Saturday evening for collection, food was ready efficiently and service was fantastic. Hands down THE BEST Chinese I've had in the bay since moving down here 4 years ago and I've tried a few to say the least. Everywhere else I have ordered from have left me disappointed in some way or another but Rickshaw Boy will be the only one taking my money from now on. So pleased to find this place, above all competition in my local town, would happily drive the 15 minutes to pick up from here. Prices better than most, very generous portions and great views while you wait, also nice to see an open wok kitchen in action... How it should be with Chinese food! I have traveled in East Asia and the food here for a takeaway has a more authentic feel and style. Only disappointment was finding out they don't do HO FUN anymore, even though the picture was still on the menu, one of my favourite noodle dishes and usually only available in restaurants. If they had still done this it would've been my new favourite takeaway. However it's still right up there compared to many others around here. Will be back to try some other dishes!
