This small family run restaurant was an unexpected surprise! We come down to Torquay/ Paignton every year and love finding gems like these! By far the best crab I have ever had and at such a reasonable price! Perfectly cooked! Fresh and clean! (Being a chef for 15 years) I've eaten & cooked alot of crab and honestly this beats 5 star hotels for fresh seafood! Will definitely be returning 🦀🦐🐟🌊

After having the curious crsb recommended to us twice in two days, we decided to eat here for dinner. I'm so glad we did, delicious food and amazing friendly service. We will be visiting again before our holiday is over.

Just had a fabulous lunch at the Curious Crab.
Wow what a great experience in these difficult times. The crab 🦀 was superb. The staff so friendly and efficient..the restaurant newly refurbished so very clean and very safe and all with views of the harbour..will be back next week..

A really special find. Lovely atmosphere and the crab was huge and tasty. The lads serving were absolute gems, very funny, warm and entertaining. We had a great evening and our only regret is that we won't get to go again as we're off home tomorrow.
