Pendulum Scottish Kitchen & Ba

Had a search on google maps looking for lunch. This place looked good and the menu looked good value. We took the off chance for a table, and luckily we got the last table in the main restaurant. What a superb meal we had. I had the haddock and chips which was a massive piece of fish in a very crispy batter, huge chunky chips and mushy peas and tartar sauce on the side. Tasted excellent. My wife had the mac and cheese with chips and rocket salad. The mac and cheese was delicious and very creamy. I had sticky toffee pudding which was amazing with a light sponge, my wife had the caledonian sundae and said it was lovely. The service was 1st class and very friendly. A very nice experience and will definitely be back. Next time I will book a table as it is very busy and easy to see why.

Lunch time is the time to go. 12.95 or 17.95. 2 or 3 courses. The cullen croquettes were awesome. The fish and chips, beware, you get 2 Fish. Not a complaint. The Salmon on spinach with a crushed new potato and dill sauce was sublime. A very pleasant lunch. And it always helps when you have good company.

My first time at Pendulum. Booked a table for lunch for 2. Food was delicious and prices were reasonable. Place filled up very fast, so clearly very popular. The service was excellent. I was impressed so I've booked my work's Christmas lunch there and I've looked at the menu and I'm already salivating!!

Food was nice but nothing special. I had chicken skewers which, because the chunks of chicken were so big, were a bit dry. I don't like either sauce offered with the meal which probably didn't help. Nice, friendly staff and a good atmosphere (Sunday lunchtime). I would definitely return and would also recommend it as my dining companions both loved their meals. I do think the £6.99 surcharge for the Sunday roast is a bit steep too.

I had a three course dinner tonight. It was absolutely amazing. Crab cakes starter Seafood gratin main Vanilla cheesecake dessert I kid you not... Everything had such a great taste, flavour and presentation, we'll be back for sure. Thanks to Jim for serving us so well and the young lad from kitchen who served us. Great memories... My wife had Salmon for main And sticky toffee pudding dessert She loved it as well. Already booked for the end of the month. 👏

We booked up after hearing great reviews from our Friends, and they were right, we had an exceptional meal at brilliant prices, there's not many places will give you a 3 course meal at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ quality for £25 each!! The staff were very busy yet very fast with service, we couldn't fault there attentiveness what so ever!! The restaurant faces The Paisley Abbey and sitting looking out the window is a delightful view!! We will be back very soon, and we'll be bringing our Families too. Thankyou for a faultless meal!!

Brilliant stopped here for Brunch , lovely clean and welcoming place. Excellent food and great value , hubby had classic breakfast I had poached eggs avocado on toast, really good selection to choose from, all came with tea or coffee and a fruit juice. Classic breakfast had 11 items ,12 if you include toast, for £9.95 we went on Tuesday so not very busy but still had a nice atmosphere, 2nd visit here and will defo be back

The food here was very well presented and tasted fantastic, the starters and the main course were both wonderfull and excellent quality. The service was brilliant too. We finished off with cocktails instead of dessert and they have great range too choose from, I would definitely go back here again. 5/5
