Good mcdonalds, conveniently located 3 mins from the motorway. Helpful staff and good food. Would have liked some more veggie options as it was really just the cheese and egg mcmuffin for breakfast. Overall good, and has a view of penrith Castle.

Have been here a few times. Can be busy with the train station nearby. Parking is okay. Staff seem lovely and helpful as I witnessed someone with the wrong order and they sorted it out efficiently.

nice and cheap if staying in local hotels which were going to cost £40 for brekfast for 2 !!!

Very interesting castle remains, original layout of the rooms is visible and some very high walls still standing, evidently built in 1400s.

Standard fast food outlet, good views of the castle and right in spitting distance of the train station make it ideal for a bite to eat while waiting for your train.

Wonderful staff, great food. For a cheap hotel it really is great. I've always had a fab time when I've stayed here. Staff really do go above and beyond!! Clean and tidy rooms too.
