I had a sausage roll from Greg's, I can't see why people rave over them. I've had better, I've had worse. Staff were helpful and delt with me well.
Me and my mate had a breakfast roll it was missing the sausages for starter's the bacon looked like road kill and was cold, the eggs if that's what you call then were hideous like chewing rubber, I had a hot chocolate which might as well been hot water it was perfetic. And to top it all of the staff was proper miserable and grumpy.
Check your food before you leave. Me and my wife ordered 1 sausage and bacon baguette with brown sauce and one sausage baguette with no sauce. We received sausage and bacon with ketchup and then just bacon instead of sausage in the other.
Our local Greggs - always good for a quick sandwich or sausage roll. Staff are always friendly and standard Greggs’ fare really
They open 6 am but Whenever I come they never have hot bakes , no fresh sausage rolls or steak bake or other any , and they always ask to wait until they bake.
Absolutely wonderful staff there didnt actually buy food on this occasion but my petrol cap on my bike had frozen shut and we had a laugh as they got me some hot water to free my petrol cap
