A real gemstone on the Poston Mill caravan park. The best of both worlds with excellent beers and foods.
Daniel and Ffion are hard working and at last this delightful place is open at 12 hours a day covering all our visitors desires. Loook out for Dom too, he’s a great barman as is the Chef’s cuisine. Good luck to you guys. We will be back soon
Lovely warm welcome & the food is fab! The puds in particular are to die for (check out the Chocolate Fudge Cake!!!! mmm).
We visit regularly and would highly recommend to all. You may even get a visit from the family cat, Aston (a real cutie).
Lovely food, lovely staff. Would highly recommend dropping in, definitely worth checking out what is on the specials menu. Loaded fries were incredible.
Also if you head to the bar and say '#purplemoose' you get 1 free pint😅 love that.
Super friendly barman and lovely food, the homemade buttermilk chicken was TATSY - perfect for a quick bite and a pint ✌️
This place is amazing!
Where it is based there really isn’t a lot around as it is rural. We were working in the area and fancied some pub lunch so we went to take a lot and it quickly became our everyday go to.
The landlord and his wife are friendly and make good conversation to make you feel at home
The food is very reasonably priced and is very good. We have ate a fair bit of the menu but the specials menu is the one to go for or the recommendations from the chef.
We will be sorry when our work in the area comes to an end, however we still have a little while yet! 👍🏼
If you are staying at Poston Mill then eating at The Mill is a no brainer. Its worth travelling there if you arent as the food is great with excellent service. Highly recommend Sunday lunch.
We hadn't been here for a while (we're getting older, or bar staff are getting younger), but good food and a pleasant experience as every time before. We always tend to stop off here in the nice weather, so we've only ever sat outside, but there is a LOT of space inside, including a large games room.
Turned up at Mill to find food had finished for the day.the owner was an absolute star he had turned all the kitchen off but turned the fryer back on so we could have chips ,I cheekly said have you got any bread with that and he delivered the chips with bread and butter to the table, now that's what you call going above and beyond so I give them a 5 star for doing the best he could. thank you ever so much
Second night eating here whilst vacationing at the adjacent site
Great meal, good service , real beer and friendly staff
To top this all the price is really keen
We’ll be back again
Food was really good pub grub, great selection of drinks, super attentive owners, really accommodating and knowledgeable. The place had been done up to a nice standard. No children's menu but they made our boys a kids version of the burger and hot dog. We went at 3pm on a Wednesday during February and were the only ones there for the whole meal so being fair couldn't really comment on the atmosphere but there was a pool table that wasn't quite finished being put together and a dart board etc. Think it'd be great for the campsite in the summer. A little pricey as £100 for 2 adult meals, 2 children's meals, 3 cokes, 2 local ales and a bottle of wine as the sauvignon isn't sold by the glass. We would definitely go back though
Stopped for a quick cider after a little rambling. Staff were very friendly and the pub very cosy and done up with attention to detail.
Amazing meal and super friendly staff. Great Covid measures. I can thoroughly recommend the burger... honestly the best I have ever eaten!! Garlic bread was delicious and huge too!
