Was passing through Pickering and went online to check out nearby food places. Came across the White Swan and was fortunate that they could fit us in for Sunday lunch.
Was exceptional. Had the ‘homemade’ black pudding starter and then the Yorkshire roast beef. Yorkshire pudding and vegetables were perfect. Beef delightful. Coffee was great too. Service spot on and all reasonably priced. Don’t normally bang on about how good a place was but the White Swan did exceed expectations.

Fantastic place the coach houses are situated well away from road private parking and the facilities and food especially is Fantastic brilliant friendly staff definitely recommend 😀

Brilliant place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, bedrooms were spotless and comfortable, and breakfasts were excellent. Very good value. Will be visiting again.

Very nice good food great service lovely comfortable quiet rooms, being able to park car next to hideaway room a good advantage in not having to cart bags and clothes up and down stairs.

Called in here twice during our holiday. First for lunch then booked for dinner as we thought the food was very good. I was pleased we did - the food was excellent and far better than any of the meals we had. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended - definitely worth a visit

Had a wonderful stay with my husband on friday. Our accommodation was beyond our expectations with a living area with roll top Bath on the ground floor and bedroom on the second. Dinner was lovely and the breakfast delicious. All the staff are warm and friendly. We would definitely return. Very good value for money. Thanks to all the staff. The girls on reception/waitressing where fantastic. If I had a hotel I would be head hunting them to work for me. Thanks lasses x

Called in for an evening drink. Good selection of ales, friendly staff and atmosphere, serves food but we didn't dine there.

The family and i stopped here for lunch over the Christmas period, and I just had to comment on the fish, chips, and mushy peas that i ordered as they are the best that i have had. Seriously, if you come here to eat, order the fish.

Exceptional Christmas break over four nights. Food and ambiance superb and mercifully free of christmas tat. Just a lovely place to be. Quality meats and cheeses and clear expertise from the very busy kitchen. What impressed most of all was the kind as well as efficient service throughout. A real team from cleaner through to a young team of helpers to the manager and salaried staff. Well done.
