I had a fabulous time here yesterday. We arrived just as they were closing after a long walk in but they happily catered for us. The orange and gooseberry cake they had baked was absolutely incredible. The sweet orange drizzle soaked the cake just the right amount so that the taste was beautifully citrussy sweet whilst the cake held its impeccable texture. The gooseberries were marvellous - sweet, tangy, and grown metres from where we were sat. The coffee was also delicious. Wouldn't necessarily recommend the milkshake which I think was from a powder but everything else we had was sensational. The setting is great as well - Rosedale is such a moors highlight because of its remoteness away from the honeypot crowds at Goathland etc.

A fabulous little tea room at the head of Rosedale, with absolutely breathtaking views. The food was lovely, and freshly made from locally sourced ingredients. It was that good, I left with a bag of pastries & scones. I will definitely be returning.

This is an amazing little find, off the beaten track and in a stunning location. Maggie is a truly great baker and the cakes and scones we had were stunning. Proper loose leaf tea served in China cups and tasty sandwiches, I had the cheese and banana chutney...beautiful!! Such an unusual place you must try it, we have lovely memories of a very tranquil and pleasant afternoon. The shepherd's hut looks amazing too, thank you so much, xx

My favorite coffee stop when we in the area. Its run by two very nice, caring and cheerful ladies, serving good coffee and cake, which is always diffrent and always delicious. The place its inviting and clean. Not very big inside but there is a lot of seating space outside, with some good views to enjoy. Also selling local produce like Simon's Honey. Love it! ❤️

We went there over Easter holidays 2022 and this has to be the best tea garden in the world! The food is delicious and the views are unparalleled. The staff are wonderful, too. (The place is so special I’m almost reluctant to tell anyone about it, but that’s unfair, so …..)

A gem of a cafe with a gorgeous setting both inside and out. The owner is super friendly and gave us some great suggestions for our drive north which we thoroughly enjoyed. Coffee and scones were delicious.

Superb cakes baked in-house. Coffee and tea all excellent and so are the staff. Extremely friendly, laid back atmosphere. The perfect way to unwind and replenish your energy after undertaking some of the excellent walks in the area. Highly recommended and we'll be visiting again soon.
