Went to Lizzie's "retirement" do there on Saturday. The staff were incredibly helpful and proper nice and the food was gorgeous. Highly recommend this place, especially for private parties.

Have been to Monty's for evening Christmas work meal and more recently a work leaving meal. This is an excellent venue for private dinner parties as they open their doors after normal hours and they cater just for you. There is a minimum number of 21 but a fabulous place for special birthdays etc. The 3 course menu choices caters for all tastes and the food was absolutely delicious on both occasions I visited. The staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Going to try their day menu sometime but if it's anything like the evening events I know I will not be disappointed

This place has the perfect breakfast menu, something for everyone. I can recommend the Chef’s Breakfast, which was a tasty take on the traditional cooked breakfast.

Wonderful service and food! This cafe opens earlier than the others around it which is much appreciated especially for an early bird enjoying life before the day becomes to busy. Wonderful Full English!

We had 3 breakfasts (full English, bubble & squeak, eggy bread bacon sandwich) and they were excellent. Great produce well cooked. The service was friendly and efficient. The only opportunity we saw for improvement was the toilet facilities which could do with a fresh. Still excellent and value for money. Well done to all involved.

So pleased we stumbled upon this great cafe. We never eat breakfast in hotels and this gem proves the point. Eggs bread bacon sarnie was delicious & and the full English with perfect poached eggs, decent thick bacon and good quality sausages was such good value. If it is busy and no tables are available just chill out and book one. It's worth the wait.

Despite a few negative experiences here, I think this place is fab! The food was good (all day breakfast) & the servers were friendly & efficient. Considering that so many places are overpriced now, I think that Monty's is excellent value for money. I'll certainly be back.

Great meal and lovely friendly staff, popped in for breakfast with friends and my daughter. There was a many choices to choose from the menu, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was very welcoming, highly recommend it!

Today is third visit in 2 weeks. Food is brilliant, nicely served, good service and inside (away from seagulls). Added bonus of no annoying music. Thanks to all at Montys

It has a very cute space with quite a variety of seating options. Nice natural lighting at the front of the cafe as well, and a tiny book borrowing area if you feel like reading. They do offer a loyalty card, but the exact details are not clear. We ordered their more deluxe hot chocolate and it was very tasty. However there was one issue. They assured us that is was vegetarian, however the drink was covered in Haribo marshmallows which contain gelatin. Once brought up the staff got us a new drink without any issue. They were all friendly overall. Seemed like an honest mistake.
