Lovely food and friendly service. Didn't realise what variety of dishes were available in an Indian restaurant. I just thought currys. Great variety of different Indian dishes. I work go back to try other dishes so tasty.

I tend to be super fussy about food but this is a go-to place! The staff is super welcoming. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous. I will definitely come back!
*excellent cheese nan, I recommend the Sylhet for vegetarians!

The best curry I have had since leaving Manchester to live in Devon 14 years ago .
Everything was freshly cooked , all dishes were not from the same sause and they left the poppadoms on the table , so we could cleanse the pallet during the meal . Excellent service to match , we will definitely return next time we are in the area

Absolutely DELICIOUS!
Visited my mother who lives locally and wanted to go out for a birthday meal mid evening last night. I’m celiac and after a brief google, found Shapla under a gluten free mention on trip advisor (*the restaurant is well informed regarding allergens)
We received an incredibly warm welcome, beautiful service and lots of friendly smiles. We were quickly served drinks and the food arrived in great time.
As for the food- everything was truly perfect!! Just so tasty! We were in awe of the tender lamb and fantastically delicious sauces. I cannot rate this restaurant enough, will definitely be back next time we’re in the area and I think my mum has also found a new favourite takeaway!

8 of us had a really enjoyable experience here. Even the curry disliking person throughly enjoyed the mixed grill. Service was excellent as was the food!

Booked a table late but the excellent team accommodated us. The service and food was outstanding. We had a great meal, enjoyed the ambiance and the interaction with the friendly staff. Thank you shapla for another fantastic dining experience.

Order 5 different curries and some sides on a Friday night. Everyone agreed the curries tasted great and were good value. It wasn't the fastest delivery, but we were out in the sticks and it's was a Friday evening. Would happily recommend and use again.
