Visited Lanterns last night and was so pleased we did. We had a lovely booth, which was really comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the lamb kebab which I would recommend, it was so tasty and tender. Lovely rice and Greek salad with it. My son (20) had the fries loaded with meatballs, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Lovely atmosphere and service too. A real gem, we look forward to visiting again.

Popped by last night, Lanterns were very busy but managed to squeeze us in as a walk in.
Service was fantastic, in fact our lemonade didn’t have any syrup in it and it was zero issue or fuss to get us a replacement.
Food was beautiful. Presentation was very good, the flavours were amazing, and the prices were very reasonable.

The food here was absolutely delicious. Very big portions. The waiters/waitresses were okay, they smiled, only when serving. Service within the whole restaurant felt very rushed, but the food standard was impeccable. Very small restaurant, felt like a tight squeeze. All in all, still very lovely.

Lanterns has been around forever but it's still just as good as it always has been. My food was outstanding, and the team were always in hand to assist. Can't wait to come back!

Had a very delicious lunch with a friend. The food really is amazing and the staff are efficient and friendly. It's at the bottom end of Plymouth City Centre which is an area I would not have visited normally as it's run down but don't let that put you off. Parking is close by and there is great wheelchair access. If you are going for dinner I'd recommend booking.

Couldn't fault anything. The menu was plenty and prices good. The food was lovely, very quick service and the waiters were wonderful (changing 2 drinks for us which we weren't happy with) no quibble and free of charge.
Would highly recommend Lanterns we ate here Sunday lunchtime.
Can't wait to visit again.

We chose Lanterns as a last minute choice for a birthday meal, without giving it much thought, only we haven't been there before. We were quite pleased with it.
The calamari was superb, fresh and delicious. The scallops are served in a very rich creamy, generously cheese topped sauce.
For mains we ordered Kleftico and pork belly. Both were cooked to perfection and beyond generous.
Unfortunately, we didn't have space left for dessert, but there was a very generous selection! So good luck 😁
