Such a great pub next to the harbour, staff are all so lovely and friendly. Asked them to put the rugby on outside and they did it straight away. Could recommend this place to everyone, I’ll be bringing my family here when they visit. Tom behind the bar is so friendly and welcoming, such a great vibe. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Tom, the team leader, however should be manager, has made us feel like family. We are repeat customers due to his hospitality. He helps with anything you need and is a great member of the team. Going to the ship is a must

Incredible pub, great pints, great atmosphere. I would always recommend coming whenever you are in Plymouth, the bartenders are always so friendly and the pub quiz on a sunday is top draw. Tom is a particularly great bartender who makes everyone feel at home. Highly recommend!

Lovely pub, experienced it mid week day time so can't comment on evening atmosphere but a liveky place to sit and watch the world go by.
Lovely pint of Guinness and the fish was up there with the best I've had, would have preferred real chips instead of fries and the mushy peas was cold but quickly rectified.
Staff lovely, chatty and attentative.

Stationed down here for work in March 2022 & the 1st time i went in the ship 🚢 i was welcomed with friendly bunch of bar staff with smiles, i use this pub this this pub as my local till today 01.10.23, the best pub on the Barbican by far 😍 for me, Tom should be the landlord for me 👌

Stopped in and had food and drink. Both where excellent. That we returned several times over our stay in plymouth. Best pint of guineas I could find in the area. Staff all extremely friendly and helpful. Food was excellent 👌
Overall I would definitely go back again, atmosphere when busy is really good.
