Excellent dog friendly pub, serving tasty, traditional pub meals. The portion sizes are decent and the ingredients are always high quality providing good value for money.
I have returned many times to this pub and others belonging to the vintage inns group. Highly recommended.

We were served by Marcus who made us feel welcome and was attentive at all times. We both had the garlic lamb skewer with chips and slaw and it was delicious! I believe the chef was called Charlie and compliments go to him for the lovely food. The badger has a lovely atmosphere without being too noisy so making it a lovely place to catch up with friends. Thanks to all the staff who served us!

OMG!! Where do I start!!
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the beautiful Paige who was an absolute dream soo friendly and the service from her was 5star
We both ordered the beer battered fish and chips and we both agreed was the best we have ever tasted
Beautifully presented and the taste was sensational
Then of course we couldn’t resist a pud so we opted for the honey pot
Can I just say this was Michelin star
The presentation was unreal and we were both in heaven from the very first bite!!
I asked Paige if I could speak to the manager as we were both in awe of everything
Paul the assistant manager came over what a lovely guy a credit to this establishment
We will be back by far the best meal we have ever had
Thank you to Lee (head chef) for producing amazing food and of course the beautiful Paige and lovely Paul for the service
This is a really special place and we will be back

Good food options. Dish wa larger than I expected but the menu does have lighter options too. Service was good and so was the decor. The triple cooked chips were much better than most I have come across.

We visited The Badger and we were very impressed. We were served by a really friendly but professional guy called David. The food was amazing, the restaurant beautiful but what made it for me was how attentive David was, he really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the evening. Not only would I rate the food 10/10, I would rate David and his service 10/10 he is a credit to the company. Would highly recommend the place

We love The Badger, the food, the staff, everything is excellent. We always book, it's so advisable because Sunday is very busy. The sirloin roast beef is absolutely amazing. Proper roast potatoes, mountains of FRESH vegetables and the gravy and Yorkshire Puddings just top it off.
We usually get a cauliflower cheese side and that's always incredibly good, enough for us. Cannot fault the staff, the cleanliness, the service and above all the delicious food. We never go anywhere else. Perfect.

Prompt service and plenty of room at our table. Quite a good selection of options on the menu at a reasonable price. Remember though, that anything else you are offered with the meal, is a paid for extra. Great choice of drinks as well to go with the meal.
When it gets busy,service can be a little slower so be prepared to wait a little longer.
The place is clean with a good atmosphere.

We had 2 mains between us - roast salmon and the sea bass. Sea bass was a little over cooked and the sauce was over seasoned which spoilt the dish.

Had such a lovely here meal tonight. Service was spot on & the food was delicious. Our visits here are usually through the day so it was a pleasant change to be here in the evening. Definitely will look forward to our next visit. Staff are so friendly, nothing us too much trouble. Dan looked after us tonight & we couldn’t have been more looked after
