Absolutely fabulous pub and landlady, please give them a visit if your passing. Food is also excellent.

Honestly couldn't ask for a better reception. Booked a hall for partners b day absolutely Brill . Even at short notice they fit us in . Cheap as chips to book the room upstairs held 50 60 people easy . Well worth what we paid for it . Even went along with our plan to surprise my partner . I visited The Brown Trout on a whim whilst passing through. I wasn't disappointed. The landlady is lovely, and I spoke with a lot of the locals who made me feel very welcome. The food was great and good value. I'll try to get back here when I can!

Had an amazing night celebrating our daughters 18th birthday in the beautiful function room upstairs, Cath and her staff made us all very welcome and was served with a friendly smile.
Everybody had a brilliant night, can highly recommend the Brown Trout for all functions, and food was amazing and loads of it, no one left hungry.

Went for a Valentine's meal. Food was beautifully presented and was stunning. I had the prawns to start and could easily have had them as main. Then came the main, wow! Delicious fillet steak cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit.
